“Truly, this was a lifesaver! I just arrived here in Kuwait about 3 months ago. I got an email saying I had to get a document notarized and it needed to be done in less than 2 weeks. I was really upset as I’m new here so I don’t know how to get around very well; I don’t speak Arabic; I would have to take time off from my new job (which I don’t yet qualify for); the Embassy is only open during certain hours/on certain days; the list could go on and on…. Fortunately, after complaining to the person who had sent the document to me, she suggested trying an online notary service. I would NEVER have thought to do that as — like most — I knew (or thought I did) that getting things notarized required people to be seen by each other face-to-face. Well…thank you technology (and technology that works!). The process was painless and it’s WAY less expensive than going to the Embassy — $50 fee for them, the cost of the taxi both ways, time off from work…not even to mention the cost of shipping it back to the US. So, next time I need something notarized, I’m happy to say I won’t panic like I did this time…before finding this service. It’s pretty remarkable what can be done from so far away…. Thanks very much!
